AI is becoming increasingly relevant in the current day and age, with big tech constantly updating their networks to accommodate for more data. AI applications have been used across many sectors already – finance, marketing, healthcare but yet only recently real estate and property management. Influential NSW agency BresicWhitney will be one of the first to implement AI into their agency, with the recent onboarding of 360 AI, Inspection Express’s newest, revolutionary property management tool.
360 AI will allow property managers to utilize AI to automatically generate comments in their Inspection Express app. The feature will enhance their existing 360 Virtual Tours solution, and the integration works by analyzing the 360 image taken and noting down the condition of the room, any scuffs, damages and marks that are present in the image.
With the ongoing issues of retention and burnout in the industry, 360 AI aims to take the burden off property managers, allowing them to recoup and find more time in their day to work on other tasks. Report writing is currently perceived as being one of, if not the most time-consuming tasks for property managers, with some saying it takes them up to 8pm at night to finish their reports for the day.
We interviewed Chantelle Collin, Head of Property Management at BresicWhitney about her decision to implement 360 AI, how she thinks it will benefit BresicWhitney, and the impact that this technology will have on the industry; This is what she had to say.
What went into the decision to jump onto 360 AI?
Staying competitive in our industry requires the adoption of new and innovative technologies. At BresicWhitney, we saw 360AI as a strategic investment that would not only keep us at the forefront of technological innovation but also open new opportunities for growth and market differentiation. The experience of our team was and remains an important consideration for us and we recognise the potential of AI in enhancing efficiency, productivity and reducing operational costs. We also identified pain points that 360AI could address, including automating repetitive tasks and improving consistency.
How do you think implementing 360 AI will benefit productivity and retention?
We expect to see positive impacts on both productivity and retention. On the productivity front, 360AI can automate routine and time-consuming tasks, freeing up our people to focus on more strategic and creative endeavours. This shift not only enhances efficiency but also fosters innovation by allowing our people to dedicate their time and energy to more “high-value” activities.
We also foresee that it will help with optimising processes, improving customer experiences, enhancing job satisfaction for our people, and ultimately driving better business outcomes. Retention is a factor here and we know that repetitive more manual work can be a significant source of dissatisfaction or disengagement. Part of what we are always striving to do at BresicWhitney is to empower our people to do meaningful work that utilizes their skills and expertise.
Collin highlights how 360 AI will not only be a beneficial tool in taking care of property managers and combating the lifelong industry issue of retention and burnout, but also a tool that will truly grow agencies through enhancing efficiency, boosting productivity and enhancing the client experience.
Kelly Dickens, Global Sales and Partnerships Manager at Inspection Express, says that ‘360 AI is the way of the future for property management. Property management is a people first industry and our goal with this tool is free up more time to spend on connection.’
