Over the past few weeks, we’ve focused on improving speed, visibility and day-to-day usability across the platform. While some updates may seem small individually, together they remove friction from inspections, reduce admin time and give property managers more control. Here’s a breakdown of what’s new 👇

Report Tracking and Actions (Email Actions)

This is one of the most impactful updates for day-to-day workflows.

You can now see exactly what’s happening with your reports directly from the main screen, without needing to open each one.

From a single view, you can:

  • See if a report has been sent
  • Identify what actions are available
  • Understand the status of each report instantly

This removes the need to click into multiple inspections just to check progress.

The feature uses a clear icon system, and if you’re unsure what something means, you can simply hover over the question mark in the column header to see exactly what each icon represents.

For property managers, this means:
  • Less time checking and chasing reports
  • Faster decision-making
  • Better visibility across your workload

Understanding Email Actions icons

As part of this update, a clear icon system has been introduced to help you quickly understand the status of each report and what action is required. Below is a breakdown of each icon and what it represents:

Email Sent

View Sent Email History

Report sent successfully. Click to view email history, including delivery and open tracking.

Not Sent

Email PDF Report

This report hasn't been sent yet. Click to open the draft email and send it when ready.

Not Started

Start a Paperless Condition Report

Condition report not yet created. Click to start setting it up.

Draft

Edit the Draft Paperless Condition Report

Draft saved. Click to reopen and continue where you left off.

Scheduled

Go to Scheduled Paperless Condition Report

Pre-Move Out Tenant Action

A new Move-Out tenant action status has been introduced to help property managers communicate more clearly with tenants before they vacate.

This includes a dedicated email template that can be customised, making it easy to outline expectations and required tasks ahead of the final inspection. Instead of reacting to issues at the end of the tenancy, property managers can now guide tenants earlier in the process.

The result is fewer surprises at exit, less back-and-forth communication and a smoother, more controlled move-out experience.

How it works
  • Pre-Move Out is added as a new severity level within Tenant Actions
  • It sits alongside: Minor, Re-inspect, and Major (which remains the highest severity)
  • Property managers can flag items that need attention before the final inspection
  • These items can be communicated to tenants using the customisable email template
  • Tenants are given clear direction and time to resolve issues ahead of vacating

More Accurate AI Comments

We’ve improved how AI-generated comments are created and applied better language and region specific comment dialect.

This means:

  • More accurate descriptions and object detection
  • Better consistency across reports
  • Less time spent editing and correcting

The goal is simple: reduce the effort required to produce high-quality reports.

Photo Blur Tool

You can now blur sensitive information directly within photos.

Key functionality:

  • Tap or draw to blur areas
  • Adjust blur size as needed
  • Works on existing photos

Important notes:

  • The original image is overwritten
  • There is no undo after saving
  • Timestamps are automatically preserved

This gives you more control when handling sensitive information, without needing external tools.

Report Sending Option

We’ve updated the wording used when sending reports to make the action clearer and more intuitive.

Previously, sending a standard PDF report was labelled as “Send report via tracked email”, which caused confusion for some users. This has now been updated to “Email PDF Report”, making it easier to understand exactly what action is being taken.

What this means for you:

  • A clearer, more straightforward way to send reports
  • Less confusion when selecting the correct option
  • A more intuitive workflow when managing report delivery

This small change helps ensure that sending reports is quick, simple, and easy to understand, especially for new users or teams onboarding.

Other Minor Improvements

Predictive Text (Restored)

Predictive text shortcut functionality has been restored to Inspection Comment fields, allowing you to highlight text and quickly reuse it in future comments.

This helps reduce repetitive typing and speeds up report completion.

Admin Portal Improvements

The default view now shows “Today” instead of “This Week.”

This means:

  • You immediately see what needs action
  • Faster load times when logging in
  • A more focused, task-driven view of your day

Compliance and Regional Improvements

VIC Lease Alignment

We’ve updated the VIC lease to better reflect current legislation. Clause 16 has been removed, meaning the lease now moves directly from Clause 15 to Clause 17.

For property managers, this means:

  • Greater confidence your documents reflect current requirements
  • Reduced risk of relying on outdated templates
