Whether you’re setting up your first few properties or adding a new one on the go, Inspection Express makes it simple to do from either the mobile app or the Admin Portal. Below, we’ll walk you through both options step by step.
Option 1: Adding a Property from the App
If you’re out in the field, adding a property through the app is quick and convenient. Here’s how you can do it:
1. Open the Inspection Express App and go to the Portfolio tab. You’ll see a small house icon at the top.
2. Tap the “+” icon in the top right corner.
3. Enter the property details, including the street number, street name, suburb, and postcode.
4. Scroll down to add any extra information such as key details, inspection dates, or tenancy information if needed.
5. When you’re done, tap “Done” in the top right corner.
Your new property will now appear in your portfolio and is ready for use in inspections.
Option 2: Adding a Property from the Admin Portal
If you’re in the office, you can also manually add properties directly from the Admin Portal.
Here’s how:
1. Log in to the Inspection Express Admin Portal.
2. Click the Properties tab.
3. Select the “New Property” button in the top right corner.
4. Fill in the property information, such as the property ID (if you have one), street number, street name, suburb, and postcode.
5. Scroll down to include inspection and tenancy details if necessary.
6. Once everything is entered, click “Save.”
Your property will now appear in the system and be ready for reports, inspections, or updates.
